When an attacker tries to make a combat FEAT roll, the player finds the ability he/she’s using and what the player is trying to do on the Battle Effects Table. Next, the player rolls the dice and compares the color of the results on the Universal Table to the color on the Battle Effects Table. The effect of the player’s combat FEAT is listed right there in the same color as his/her dice rolls on the Universal Table. Example: Slugefest. Character has Incredible Fighting. The player rolls a 44. That’s a green box in the Incredible column. Looking at the Effects Table, the green in Slugfest reads “Hit”. Damage is issued based on the attack used.
Multiple Combat Actions
Occasionally characters may make more than one attack in the same round, attacking the same target or different targets. Any character can make multiple attacks, provided that character makes a Fighting FEAT roll in the Pre-Action roll. All multiple attacks are made at -1CS to hit. If the Fighting FEAT fails, only one attack is made at -3CS. The intensity of the FEAT depends on the number of attacks desired: Making 2 attacks in the same round.
